What is OpenVideo?
OpenVideo is being built as an online video editing service. Describe your idea, bring your material, and refine the edit through conversation. The hosted service is in development; the current editor is a development preview.
Do I have to upload a video first?
No. Start with text alone or attach PDFs, documents, images, audio, and video. You can add more files in follow-up messages.
Can I change the edit after seeing it?
Yes. Describe the changes you want in the same conversation and review the updated composition in the editable preview.
Will I need my own AI account?
No. OpenVideo handles AI access through server-side model APIs. Chat uses 1 Zap for each $0.10 of actual API cost.
How will my material be processed?
The hosted service processes projects on its servers and uses external AI providers. It is not an offline editor. Provider choices, retention terms, and the privacy policy will be published before hosted access opens.
What can I export?
The current editor supports MP4 exports. Exports cost 5 Zap per started minute, quoted before you render.
How much will OpenVideo cost?
Your first login includes 10 welcome Zap, once, with no expiry. Free also includes 1 daily Zap. Hobby is $25/month with 100 monthly Zap plus 2 daily. Pro is $50/month with 200 monthly Zap plus 5 daily. Daily bonuses reset at UTC midnight and do not roll over; monthly Zap do not roll over.
